In the midst of the Russian invasion of Ukraine Wednesday night, we want to share some ways you can support Ukrainian communities locally, and globally.
💸 The Portland-based organization Mercy Corps, which focuses on helping people in crisis around the world, said on Thursday morning it was prepared to help 1.5 million displaced Ukranians. You can support them monetarily at their website.
📣 You can join the Facebook page for the Ukrainian-American Cultural Association of OR & SW WA to stay up to date on rallies, messages of support and calls to action.
✏️ Stay up to date on what’s happening on the ground on Justin Yau’s Twitter, a Portland journalist who is in Ukraine covering Russia’s invasion.
🔗 You can follow this site to stay up to date on what rallies are happening around the country.
